Business Planning and Strategy Analyst
As a member of the Business Planning and Strategy (BPS) unit, the Fellow will work directly with the Director of BPS, Vice President of Business Development, and Senior Vice President of Strategic Development and Communications, playing the primary analytical role and key leadership and strategic thinking roles in initiatives relating to improving the effectiveness of FHI’s business development effort.
Responsibilities may involve:

- Performing a variety of analyses to make business development data useful in decisions

- Developing tools for business analysis

- Recommending improvements to systems and processes

- Supporting leadership in various projects as necessary

Additional Selection Criteria

- Ability to draw insight from large amounts of raw data
- Comfort with financial analysis/modeling

- Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Excel

- Ability to work effectively with senior executives

Competitive Strategy Analyst
As a member of the Business Planning and Strategy (BPS) unit, the Fellow will work directly with the Director of BPS, Vice President of Business Development, and Senior Vice President of Strategic Development and Communications, playing the primary analytical role and a key strategic thinking role on initiatives relating to competitive strategy.
Responsibilities may involve:
- Performing research to understand competitor strategies

- Developing tools for competitive analysis

- Developing recommendations on competitive strategy

- Supporting leadership in various projects as necessary

Additional Selection Criteria
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into insightful frameworks

- Strong investigative and research skills

- Ability to work effectively with senior executives

Market Research and Outreach Analyst
As a member of the Communications division, the Fellow will work directly with the Director of Communications, playing the primary analytical role and a key strategic thinking role in improving FHI’s communication and engagement with key external stakeholder groups, as well as a key leadership role in developing and implementing select corporate outreach campaigns.

Responsibilities may involve:

- Researching the communication and engagement needs of various stakeholder groups and the related strategies employed by competitors
- Developing recommendations for improving FHI’s marketing and communications strategies in relation to these stakeholders

- Writing select outreach materials

- Developing and implementing corporate outreach campaigns

- Supporting leadership in various other projects as necessary

Additional Selection Criteria
- Strong understanding of communications and marketing
- Ability to form strong partnerships between organizations

- Exceptional writing ability

- Ability to work effectively with senior executives

Strategic Planning Analyst
As a member of the Strategic Development and Communications (SDC) group, the Fellow will work directly with the SDC officer and Senior Vice President of SDC, playing the primary analytical role and key coordinating and strategic thinking roles in initiatives supporting the FHI Executive Management Committee.
Responsibilities may involve:
- Contributing to implementation and improvement of FHI’s strategic and operational planning processes

- Conducting research for the development of new strategic initiatives

- Assisting with presentations to the FHI Board of Directors

- Developing a plan for training and capacity building of SDC staff

- Helping to prepare for FHI participation in key external meetings and other forums

- Supporting leadership in various other projects as necessary

- Consistent high performer in a wide variety of types of work
