Impact Accelerator Overview

About the ProInspire Impact Accelerator

The ProInspire Impact Accelerator iFellow discussions a two-day immersive institute for early-career professionals to deepen their understanding of the social sector, their leadership strengths and skills, their value to the sector, and how to translate that value into opportunity. After the institute, participants will be equipped with the tools and community support to find or create an opportunity to lead within the social sector. Completion of the Impact Accelerator program will signal readiness for social sector leadership.

Through two energizing days developing a deeper understanding of social sector work and their own leadership potential, Impact Accelerator participants will:

  • Articulate their motivations, strengths, skills, and values as they develop a personal mission statement
  • Learn about opportunities in the sector, including types of organizations and roles, and identify where these align with their personal mission
  • Build relationships with a cohort of peers who share a passion for social impact work and a common desire to grow as leaders in this space
  • Connect with the ProInspire network, including partners who are hiring for full-time job opportunities through the ProInspire Fellowship program

As this is the first year for the Impact Accelerator, we are offering pilot pricing of $200 for the entire two-day program. Scholarships are available and can be requested through the application process. While participants are also responsible for their travel arrangements and associated costs, ProInspire will provide guidance for securing lodging and navigating the city. Program dates and locations for the 2017 Impact Accelerator include:

  • Washington DC: Friday, May 19 and Saturday, May 20, 2017
  • San Francisco, CA: Friday, July 28 and Saturday, July 29, 2017
