Brian Marroquin

Program Manager, LIFT-DC

Brian Marroquin is a regional Program Manager for LIFT, a national nonprofit that works to lift people out of poverty for good. At LIFT he manages a team of four site coordinators and 50+ volunteers across two resource centers in D.C. Brian initially came to LIFT as a volunteer and then served as an AmeriCorps member and LIFT Fellow. As the first in his family to graduate from college in the U.S., Brian earned his Bachelors from the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where he was recognized with the Outstanding Political Science Student Award and the Award for Excellence in Research. He currently serves on the board of the Arlington Committee of 100, and is a graduate of the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership and the inaugural TRIALS program at Harvard Law School. He has lived in the D.C. area for more than 20 years.
