Dr. Kristy Arnold

Director of Student Services, Year Up

Kristy Arnold is the Director of Student Services for Year Up, National Capital Region, a workforce development program focused on teaching young adults about the corporate sector, specifically Information Technology. Kristy has worked with youth in both the juvenile justice & foster care systems in Atlanta, GA as the Lead Case Manager at Neighbor to Family, Inc. Throughout her career, she has conducted groups centered around sexual abuse, substance awareness, & life skills, in addition to providing individual counseling to youth, young adults, and couples. Kristy holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Georgia, a M.Ed. from Howard University, and a PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision from Virginia Tech.
