ToPPP Grant Program Assistant, Cesar Chavez Public Charter School

Liz Budrionis is the Program Assistant for the ToPPP Grant, a $1.1 million Race to the Top Grant awarded to Cesar Chavez Public Charter Schools for Public Policy in 2012.  The purpose of the grant is to support schools in implementing the Common Core State Standards by providing high-quality professional development to teachers and leaders within the grant consortium. In her role, Liz collaborates with the grant team to design and support a teacher-led, small-group Common Core professional development program and manage the day to day operations of other grant programming.  Prior to her current role, Liz taught chemistry and physics as a 2009 Teach For America corps member at a charter school in Stamford, Connecticut.  Liz has a BA in Literary and Cultural Studies and Biochemistry from the College of William and Mary and an MS in Education from Southern Connecticut State University.
