Madelaine Glassberg

Inclusion Specialist & Fellows Coordinator, Mundo Verde Bilingual Public Charter School

Madelaine has been a lead teacher at Mundo Verde for the past two years. She now works as an inclusion specialist, supporting students as an intervention teacher focusing on social and emotional, as well as academic needs. She also coordinates the teaching fellows and Intensives programming, which provides targeted small group interventions.  She joined Mundo Verde from E.L. Haynes Public Charter School as a Capital Teaching Resident and participated in The New Teacher Project’s DC Practitioner Teacher Program. Prior to that, she worked at MATCH Charter Public Middle School in Boston, Massachusetts. Originally from Vermont, Madelaine received her bachelor’s in English and geography with a minor in education from Middlebury College. She also did coursework at the University of Otago in New Zealand and completed a master’s degree in educational leadership and policy from American University in 2012.
