Yvonne Vargas-Santos

HR and People Development Manager, Year Up National Capital Region

Yvonne Vargas-Santos is a native of Brooklyn, NY. She joined Year Up National Corporate Headquarters in Boston in 2010 as their Operations and Benefit Specialist and then joined Year Up National Capital Region in 2013. She has her Masters in Management with a concentration in Human Resources from Cambridge College and a Bachelor of Arts from Marymount Manhattan College in Communications. Yvonne began her career in C-Level event planning for leaders such as Jack Welch, Herb Kelleher, Patrick Lencioni and many more before finding her true passion in developing people. She also loves technology and holds a certification in Computer Information Management. Currently, Yvonne is in track to get her Society of HR Management Professional HR Certification. Yvonne is looking forward to her journey in DC and happy to support students in their career path.
