Monica Biswas

Director

Monica Biswas is a public health professional, a Race Equity, Diversity, Inclusion (REDI) practitioner, organizational consultant, facilitator, and coach.  Monica has facilitated change projects in public health and healthcare organizations for over 20 years, working to advance equity in health and education.

At ProInspire, Monica supports foundations and non profits to actualize their commitments to racial equity for the purpose of deeper organizational impact through shifts in culture, strategy, and learning. Her approach incorporates a race and power analysis, values different forms of lived expertise, and focuses on the small daily practices that bring the larger organization into alignment with its values and strategy, while bringing her skills in facilitation, relationship building, coaching and somatics.

Monica received her Masters from the Harvard School of Public Health where she studied social determinants of health, leadership and social change. She went on to work across the healthcare industry to design programs intended to address health inequities for those with the most complex health challenges or who are typically marginalized from the system.

Monica Biswas identifies as a cis-gender, queer woman, of South Asian descent and is mom to two adolescent children.
