Monisha Kapila, ProInspire Founder and CEO, was named today to The Chronicle of Philanthropy’s 40 Under 40 list. This first-ever list shines the spotlight on extraordinary young nonprofit leaders, fundraisers, foundation officials, donors, and social entrepreneurs from across the country. Chosen from a pool of more than 400 nominees, the 40 Under 40 list includes other influential sector leaders such as Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan, Founders of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and Patrisse Cullors, Co-Founder of Black Lives Matter.

Monisha and her fellow honorees comprise a diverse group of passionate, talented individuals who are crafting innovative solutions for tough problems, building the strength of the nonprofit world, and driving change in their communities and around the world. “We are extremely proud of Monisha for her vision in launching and growing ProInspire,” said Rafael Alfonzo, Chair of ProInspire’s Board of Directors. “This recognition acknowledges her leadership in elevating talent in the nonprofit sector. Monisha’s inclusion on The Chronicle’s 40 Under 40 list is validation of ProInspire’s mission and of the notion that talent matters to the nonprofit sector. On behalf of ProInspire, I congratulate all of the professionals included on the 40 Under 40 list.”
