What inspired you to make the switch into the nonprofit sector?
The death of my grandmother shocked me into looking at something new.
What is your current position, and a typical day like?
I’m an analyst in the Frontier Investments group. My average day consists of: modeling, due diligence, and portfolio management typical of any venture capital firm.

Tell us about your past leadership experiences and how they are helping you in your current role.
The transition from my prior “for-profit” roles to non-profit has been seamless. My past experience in private equity and investment banking has helped pave the way for me.
Who do you look to as a leader in your respective field, and why?
That’s the thing about impact investing…nobody is a leader because the industry is so new. We (impact investors) rely on our peer network to better educate ourselves. The level of collaboration is inspiring.
