Bianca Kahlenberg

National 4-H Council, Alumni and Individual Giving Coordinator

Bianca is a ProInspire Fellow with the National 4-H Council, the world’s largest positive youth development organization serving over 7 million youth each year.  In her role as Alumni and Individual Giving Coordinator, Bianca is driving the strategy and implementation of engaging those who have gone through 4-H programs as a youth and are now 4-H supporters and donors.  Prior to her time at Council, Bianca worked in a sales and marketing capacity at a growing research and grant development firm, serving their non-profit and healthcare clients. Previous to that role, Bianca worked at her alma matter, the University of Florida in their annual giving department, organizing various aspects of their campaigns to students, faculty, and young alumni including direct mail, events and the university’s first online giving campaign that brought in over $30,000. Outside of her professional career, Bianca has been a volunteer with the American Red Cross for over 10 years. She currently serves as Chair of their National Young Professionals Council, a group of volunteer leaders who work with the organizations’ senior leaders to think about how to best engagement young professionals as volunteers and donors. Her volunteerism has allowed her to be an ambassador of youth and young adult volunteerism in the organization, working to create engagement strategies for youth in the Red Cross and help local chapters create their own youth engagement strategies, including the growth of Red Cross School Clubs.  An avid runner, in her spare time you can probably find Bianca enjoying on one of her favorite DC running trails.
