FHI 360, Strategic Planning and Analysis Analyst

Elisa Chen is a ProInspire Fellow at FHI 360, a global human development organization utilizing a 360-degree perspective and an integrated approach in addressing complex human development needs. At FHI 360, Elisa is involved in cost effectiveness analysis of FHI 360’s regional office model and also supports the global implementation of the organization’s new business performance management process. Elisa graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rice University with undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Managerial Studies. Upon graduation, she worked at Accenture as a Talent and Organization Performance Manager defining learning strategies and leading change management initiatives for global energy and resource companies in Houston, Texas. Prior to joining ProInspire, Elisa volunteered in Embu, Kenya as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist with Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) for 5 months in a FHI-led project for the Kenya Ministry of Health and USAID to improve Central Kenya’s data collection process.

Currently, Elisa serves as an Events Coordinator for Young Professionals in Foreign Policy’s (YPFP) Refugee Assistance Program and will be working with YPFP in growing refugee awareness through various events and activities in DC. She also continues her passion of flag football, basketball, language learning, cooking, eating and travel (and integrating any of those when possible!).
