Project Manager, 10th Anniversary

Emerald is a nonprofit management professional with nine years of experience helping organizations advance their missions through resource development, project management, and systems building. In her role as Project Manager Consultant at ProInspire, Emerald oversees activities tied to the organization’s 10th anniversary including rebranding, events, fundraising, and publications. Prior to joining ProInspire, Emerald served as Director of Development at Communities In Schools of the Nation’s Capital, where she developed and led a $1.8 million fundraising strategy to support the organization’s operations and recent expansion. Her experience in the nonprofit sector spans across both philanthropic and direct-service agencies, having worked at organizations such as CityBridge Foundation, Higher Achievement, and Young, Black, & Giving Back.

Emerald has a B.A. degree in Communications from Howard University and earned an executive certificate in Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University; she is also an alumna of ProInspire’s 2015 Managing for Success program. In addition to her work in the social sector, Emerald is a former NFL Cheerleader and aspiring blogger with a fond love for traveling and learning new things via Ted Talks.
