Announcing 2015 Managing for Success and ProInspire Fellows

It has been a busy Fall around here as we welcome over 60 emerging leaders into ProInspire’s programs. Over the past few months, we placed and launched the 2015 class of ProInspire Fellows in Washington D.C. and the San Francisco Bay Area. In September we kicked off the the inaugural San Francisco Bay Area cohort of Management Fellows, and our fifth DC cohort of Management Fellows. Read on for details about each of these cohorts.

2015 ProInspire Fellows
We’re excited to welcome the 2015 ProInspire Fellows in Washington D.C. and the San Francisco Bay Area. We selected these 22 professionals from over 750 applications (a 3% selection rate) for placement at one of ProInspire’s nonprofit and social enterprise partners. Bringing an average of four years of experience at companies such as Booz Allen Hamilton, Ernst & Young and JP Morgan Chase, the Fellows have taken on critical social sector roles in finance, impact investing, marketing, operations, and strategy. 59% of Fellows are persons of color and 81% are new to working full-time in the social sector. We are energized to work with this talented, passionate group of professionals, as well as 12 returning and five new partner organizations in DC and SF:

2015 Bay Area Management Fellows

Inaugural SF Management Fellows

We’re thrilled to launch Managing for Success on the west coast. Interest in the first Bay Area cohort exceeded our expectations and we have brought together a fantastic group of 21 Management Fellows. They are convening for three full-day workshops following ProInspire’s curriculum: managing self, managing individuals, and managing in organizations. Management Fellows also benefit from assessments, peer coaching, and interaction with nonprofit CEOs. Participants in this cohort have an average of four years of management experience (managing people, projects, funders, budgets, stakeholders or teams), and 43% are persons of color. You can meet the inaugural class of SF Management Fellows here.
