Allison Green

Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital, Product Sales Specialist

Allison Green is a ProInspire Fellow at the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital, one of the largest Girl Scout councils in the United States, and the premier leadership development organization for girls in the region with over 89,000 girl and adult members.  As a Product Sales Specialist at the Nation’s Capital Council, Allison is responsible for the Council operations of the annual Girl Scout Cookie Sale, the largest girl-run business in the world.  Specifically, Allison is working on the implementation of an automated payment process between the Council and the over 4,300 local troops participating in the sale, in addition to other council-wide product sales initiatives.  Allison began her career at Deloitte & Touche in Los Angeles as an audit associate focused on financial services clients.  Prior to joining the Nation’s Capital Council, Allison was a Fund Management Analyst at The Carlyle Group, a global alternative asset manager, where she was responsible for the quarterly valuations and fund operations of the Europe Real Estate and Energy Funds.  While at The Carlyle Group, Allison founded the Under 30 Employee Resource Group, pursuing her passion of developing work environments that provide leadership, continuing education, and growth opportunities for all levels.  Outside of work, Allison actively pursues volunteer opportunities and can usually be found at Fuse Pilates in Dupont Circle.  Allison is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and graduated with degrees in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southern California where she was an active member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority, held appointments on various Undergraduate Student Government boards, and played water polo.  Allison enjoys running half-marathons, meditation, all things California, constantly learning, traveling, and spontaneously DJing friends’ parties.
