Angele’ Doyne

National Black Child Development Institute (NBCDI)

Angele’ Doyne is an accomplished leader with a background in social justice, public service and community engagement. Angelè joined the team at the National Black Child Development Institute (NBCDI) in 2010 as an AmeriCorp. In the Fall of 2011, Angelè interned at the White House, working in the offices of Public Engagement and Presidential Correspondence, building relationships with advocacy groups and was responsible for handling official correspondence on behalf of the President. After the completion of the internship, Angelè returned to NBCDI as the Program Manager for the organization, spearheading initiatives that yield positive sustainable changes and outcomes in traditionally hard to reach communities of color, while also managing the integration of program, policy and advocacy work within NBCDI’s Affiliate Network. Angelè holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, African and African American studies from the University of Arkansas and a graduate degree in Policy and International Relations from Howard University.
