Anna Johnson

Director of Operations, Mundo Verde Public Charter School

Anna Johnson is the Director of Operations for Mundo Verde Public Charter School. As the Director of Operations at Mundo Verde Public Charter School, Johnson works in human resources, facilities, meal service, compliance, and general operations. During and after college, she worked for Amigos de las Americas (AMIGOS), a program that works in rural Latin American communities around health development projects. One part of the program’s mission is to provide youth leadership opportunities. In addition to working for AMIGOS, Johnson worked for the Cottonwood Gulch Foundation in New Mexico, an experiential outdoor organization, and the School for Field Studies (SFS), a study abroad program and research field station, in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Moving to Washington, DC, she was able to combine her law degree and experience in education to work with public charter schools. Johnson is originally from the Pacific Northwest and graduated from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. She then attended law school at Vermont Law School.
