Brint Markle

Small Enterprise Assistance Funds (SEAF), Business Development Project Manager

Brint Markle is a ProInspire Fellow with Small Enterprise Assistance Funds (SEAF), an impact investing organization that provides growth capital and business assistance services to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in emerging markets.  As a Business Development Project Manager at SEAF, Brint is responsible for partnering with the CEO and Chairman to develop a global $100M permanent capital vehicle (PCV) that will scale SEAF’s investments in underserved markets.  In addition to his work on the PCV, Brint will support the development of strategic initiatives in Africa and Latin America.  Prior to SEAF, Brint worked with Bain & Company in Atlanta and Zurich Switzerland where he helped launch Bain’s first global social impact initiative.  In addition to his social impact work, Brint worked on corporate strategy and private equity projects in the financial services, biotechnology, retail, telecom, and education sectors.   Before Bain, Brint founded Rival Magazine, the first student led publication between Duke-UNC-CH to deepen collaboration between peer institutions.  He was also a three year Co-Captain of Duke University Water Polo.  Brint graduated cum laude from Duke University with a B.A. in Public Policy and a minor in Economics and enjoys backcountry skiing, speaking Spanish, traveling, and spending time with close friends and family.

Post Fellowship: Brint started his MBA at MIT’s Sloan School of Business.
