Carlos Garcia

Eagle Academy PCS, Resource Development and Marketing Manager

Carlos Garcia is a Resource Development and Marketing Manager at Eagle Academy Public Charter School, D.C.’s first early childhood public charter school.  Carlos joined us from Los Angeles, where he attended the University of Southern California.  He has a background in proposal writing, and resource development, and is a passionate supporter of youth development and education through his volunteerism and professional experience.  He is responsible for exploring new partnerships and grant opportunities for the School.  But in the other half of his role as a marketing manager, he is responsible for the digital content creation and management for Eagle Academy’s digital platforms (Facebook, twitter, and web). Carlos earned his BA in International Relations and policy analysis, and most recently was a literacy intervention tutor with Reading Partners Los Angeles.  Carlos has a wealth of experience in the Non-Profit sector, working with organizations of all different sizes and purposes.  Most notably, he has worked with the American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles, the Global Poverty Project, and Relief International.
