Casey Krall
Learning Community Leader, Year Up National Capital Region
Casey Krall is the Learning Community Leader at Year Up. Although she was born and raised in Pennsylvania, Casey spent a good chunk of the new millennium in Oregon where she received her BA in English from the University of Oregon and an MAT from Pacific University. She’s had experience teaching in the secondary classroom, worked in the bookstore and tutoring center of the local community college in Eugene, Oregon, and entered the non-profit world by teaching Business Communications at Year Up. After a brief stint as Academic Manager, Casey entered the role of Learning Community Leader where she lovingly “herds cats”—teaching Professional Skills, managing a team of 10 staff members, and supporting the professional development of 40 students biannually.
