Courtnye Lloyd

Learning Community Leader, Year Up

Courtnye Lloyd is a Learning Community Leader for the Year Up—National Capital Region where she leads a team to implement community-building and professional development activities to support students in training, internships and obtaining employment. Prior to this role, she was the Outreach Coordinator in charge of student recruitment and expanded the applicant pool by 50%. Previously, Courtnye worked for ACCESS Youth, Inc., taught elementary school, and managed tutoring programs. Courtnye holds a B.A. in Psychology from Duke University, and a Master of Education in Education Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. In her free time, she enjoys writing, dancing and perfecting her recipe for Belgian waffles.
