Dana E. Connors

AcademyHealth, Project Manager for Electronic Data Methods (EDM) Forum

Dana E. Connors is a ProInspire Fellow at AcademyHealth, the organization for Health Services Researchers. As the project manager for the Electronic Data Methods (EDM) Forum he manages the development of budgets, contracts and project work plans, as well as the continued growth of eGEMS, the peer-reviewed open access journal of the EDM Forum focused on using electronic health data to advance research and quality improvement. He also supports stakeholder outreach, collaborative projects, and is the primary architect for the EDM Forum’s sustainability portfolio.

Prior to joining ProInspire and AcademyHealth, Dana was an independent consultant working internationally with health care companies and device manufacturers in marketing, strategic planning, communications and project management. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida, Dana worked abroad for 5 years and received his Master of Science from the University of Amsterdam in 2006. In his spare time, Dana is an avid musician, performs with a bluegrass band, a classical trio and a Washington DC based choral ensemble.
