Debbie Shen

San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center, Financial Controller

Debbie is a ProInspire Fellow at the San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center, where her main objective is to bring the accounting function back in-house. Debbie is a CPA and graduated from Trinity University with a MS in Accountancy and BS in Business Administration. She previously worked in Washington, D.C. as a public accountant at KPMG LLP, specializing in the nonprofit practice, and as a program coordinator at Community Tax Aid. Debbie is passionate about women’s rights, poverty alleviation, and sexual assault prevention. A brunch and coffee enthusiast, she also enjoys constantly learning, befriending strangers, reading nonfiction, and dime wrestling.
