Rubicon Programs, Development Manager

Deepti Nagulapally is a ProInspire Fellow at Rubicon Programs, an organization that provides comprehensive housing, legal, and job training services to low-income individuals in the East Bay.  More than that, Rubicon provides supportive wrap around services such as one-on-one counseling, financial and career coaching, and parenting and relationship building workshops. Rubicon aids people begin their journey to change and become self-sufficient.  As the Development Manager she will be working to oversee the grants administration process, assisting in fundraising and marketing through social media management, event planning and project management, and aiding website redesign and management process.  Prior to joining Rubicon Programs, Deepti was working towards getting a Master’s in Public Administration, with a focus on International Development and Policy at New York University.  She interned at Grameen America and Restless Development while in school to supplement her education with hands-on training.  She has experience in pipeline development, Salesforce administration, and grant writing.  Deepti has also worked as a Client Manager at Willis North America for two years where she worked closely with clients to build relationships and service their risk management needs.  She has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Georgia.  In her spare time she enjoys reading, singing badly, dancing spontaneously, and experimental cooking.
