Heather Decker

Senior Manager – Training and Development, LIFT

Heather has spent the past 9 years supporting LIFT in its ongoing development and growth. During this time, she has served both in LIFT’s field offices and in LIFT’s headquarters. Heather is currently supporting LIFT’s Chief Program Officer in the strategic redesign of LIFT’s national client service model, in order to ensure the highest quality of service is delivered to the 10,000 community members LIFT serves per year. Prior to her current role, she led LIFT’s diversity and inclusion initiative which has resulted in increased dialogue of issues of inclusion within the organization, along with a 10% increase in the diversity of LIFT’s staff. Heather has a M.S. in Organization Development from American University, where she received the Hal Kellner award for her commitment to diversity, inclusion, and social justice. She received her B.A. from Tufts University where she graduated magna cum laude.
