Partners for the Common Good, Development & Impact Coordinator

Jay Subramaniam is a ProInspire Fellow at Partners for the Common Good (PCG), a community development financial institution whose mission is to advance economic justice and opportunity for disenfranchised communities internationally. As the Development & Impact Coordinator, Jay manages investor relationships and ensures that the measured social performance is aligned with PCG’s loan portfolio financial targets. Prior to the ProInspire Fellowship, Jay served as CFO of a start-up in India called Piramal Water, a for-profit social enterprise bringing clean drinking water to villages and slums as a healthcare initiative. He also has three years of experience in public accounting at Deloitte & Touche LLP and the PCAOB. Jay is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and graduated in 2005 with degrees in Finance and Accounting from the University of Maryland, where he was awarded the Asian American Studies Scholarship for Community Service Excellence. On the basketball court, he plays shooting guard with his patented step-back jumpshot and is a fan of the triangle offense.
