Jessenia Francisco

New Schools Venture Fund

Jessenia Francisco is a ProInspire Fellow within the Shared Services team at New Schools Venture Fund and will report to the Chief Operating Officer. During her fellowship, she will support development on donation processing & pipeline management and lead operational projects focused on upgrading systems and processes . Prior to joining NewSchools, Jessenia was the Executive Director of the New York Chapter of ALPFA – an national organization that empowers and develops Latino men and women through leadership development.  She drove the chapter’s day to day operations and strategy building in addition to leading projects for the national organization’s execution of strategic partnerships and the annual convention. During her tenure, she engaged the highest levels of chapter membership across the national and doubled the number of corporate partners supporting New York.  Prior to ALPFA, Jessenia was an Financial Analyst with Bank of America Merrill Lynch supporting management reporting and operational enhancements for the Global Markets division.

Jessenia is a first generation college graduate, receiving her BS in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She recently served as a board of trustee for New Heights Academy Charter School and board of director to Violence Intervention Program (VIP Mujeres) in New York City.
