Kathryn Gray
Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO), Director of Marketing & Communications
Kathryn is a ProInspire Fellow at the Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO). In her role as Director of Marketing & Communications at AEO Kathryn is responsible for all marketing, public relations and communications outreach for the organization. She has the opportunity to interact with various groups including over 400 AEO member organizations, print and online media outlets, government officials and policymakers. She is thrilled to be working with AEO promoting their critical missions and initiatives centered on job creation in the US. The daughter of an entrepreneur and small business owner, she is very passionate about shouting to the world that “Main Street Matters.” To view some of the initiatives Kathryn is working on click here. Prior to joining AEO Kathryn spent 12 months on an adventure of a lifetime camping and traveling, predominantly by local transport or her own two legs, through Africa, The Middle East, and Western and South East Asia. Prior to that Kathryn held various business and marketing roles with leading corporations in the Fashion and Cosmetics industries in San Francisco. Kathryn also brings tremendous passion for and experience in working with world-renowned non-profit organizations such as Amnesty International, The American Heart Association, The American Cancer Society and the American Field Service. She loves traveling and is determined to visit every country on the planet. The current count is 50, so she has quite a few more planes, trains and automobiles to catch! She also loves vintage shopping, photography, writing, soccer, surfing, sailing, snowboarding, learning new languages, being with family and in general just making great things possible during her time on this earth. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with honors and has a BA in Global International Studies and a BA in Spanish Literature. In addition she has an honorary PHD in having an honest good time!
