Kelly Masley joined Communities In Schools in January 2006, bringing experience in classroom teaching, event planning, nonprofit fundraising and high-level executive support. In 2013 Kelly was named Chief of Staff, a role in which she supports the president in achieving integration and alignment among the executive team, departmental initiatives and the work of the board of directors. Before that, Kelly spent three years as the Associate Director of Board Relations, working closely with the executive team and national board members to support best practices in governance and help evolve the board’s work. Before 2010 Kelly served as executive assistant to the national president coordinating internal and external scheduling and travel, and partnering with him on the logistics of strategy implementation.
