Kelly Pierson

National 4-H Council, Marketing and Product Coordinator

Kelly is a ProInspire Fellow with the National 4-H Council, the largest positive youth development organization in the US. Working as a Marketing and Product Coordinator, Kelly is responsible for identifying trends and strategizing the scope of  product updates to 4-H Mall assortment, contributing to Council-wide marketing initiatives such as National Youth Science Day, and creating social media for 4-H’s Supply Services division. Prior to joining 4-H, Kelly worked for two years in an assistant merchandising role for Target Corporation, where she ran a $170 million apparel category for the nationwide retailer. Kelly also assisted in the launch of a consumer product start-up in Austin, TX during the summer prior to joining ProInspire, and her passions for adventure and nonprofit organizations have sparked her travels to nations such as Brazil, Ghana, New Zealand, and Singapore. She is also an avid runner, having completed five marathons and one triathlon.  Kelly currently runs with the DC chapter of Back on My Feet, a running club for homeless men and community members, and is working on a social enterprise project to raise funds for victims of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings. Kelly graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Gender Studies.
