Kevin Bauer
Student Services Manager, Year Up National Capital Region
Kevin Bauer is the Student Services Manager at Year Up – National Capital Region, a workforce development nonprofit providing training, experience, and support to empower urban young adults pursuing professional careers and higher education. Before joining Year Up, Bauer worked at the Latin American Youth Center’s (LAYC) Independent Living Program Apartments in Washington, DC, where he worked with youth aging out of foster care, and the Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, at a residential treatment facility for young men in Chicago, IL. Bauer remains an active supporter of the LAYC and is a member of its Associate Board, a young professionals fundraising group, which he co-founded. He is a graduate of Northwestern University and received his master’s in social work from the University of Chicago.
