Lars B. Parkin

Population Services International, Strategy Analyst

Lars B. Parkin is a ProInspire Fellow at Population Services International (PSI), a global nonprofit that makes it easier for people in the developing world to lead healthier lives and plan families they desire by marketing affordable products and services. Lars serves PSI as a strategy analyst, focusing both on global/corporate strategy and individual network strategy relative to PSI’s initiatives in over 60 countries. Prior to PSI, Lars worked in Europe as a bulk dry cargo ship broker for a few years after undergrad. He then spent nearly six years working as a financial restructuring and turnaround management consultant – initially with a boutique firm in Los Angeles and most recently with BDO Consulting in Manhattan – and transitioned to healthcare consulting exclusively, focusing on medicaid redesign and transactions. Lars graduated from Colorado College with a degree in International Political Economy. Outside of work, Lars follows his passions for big mountain snowboarding, surfing, kiteboarding, sailing, backpacking and adventuring with his wife, family and friends.
