Macani Toungara

TechnoServe

Macani Toungara is the Director for Program Development at TechnoServe. In this role, she manages the development of strategic bids, develops donor engagement strategies and supports program development capacity building. She previously worked as the Business Development Manager for West Africa for TechnoServe. Based in Accra, she developed concept notes and proposals on subjects including public private partnerships, supply chain linkages, SME development, market systems development, food security promotion and job creation for TechnoServe’s West Africa program. She also led consulting engagements for corporate and public clients. Before joining TechnoServe, Ms. Toungara was a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, in Washington, DC, where she worked on projects in consumer goods and financial services. Ms. Toungara holds a Master in Public Affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School for Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and a law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center. She also holds a B.A. from Harvard University.
