Marcus Noel

Baltimore City Public Schools, Financial Strategist

Marcus Noel is a ProInspire Fellow at Baltimore City Public School System (District Office), a school district dedicated to accelerating the academic achievement of all students, in partnership with the entire community to ensure that students have the attitudes, skills, and proficiencies needed to succeed in college. As a Financial Strategist, Marcus supports the CFO on special projects related to improving financial analysis, forecast modeling, and data systems to help the district Schools improve their outcomes. He began his career at JP Morgan as an Asset Management Analyst, were he provided financial analysis and wealth management strategy for the firm’s high net-worth clients. After his work at JP Morgan, Marcus worked as a Project Manager at McMaster-Carr Supply Co. where he was responsible for the development of an internal Wiki site and operational strategy projects throughout the Merchandising Group. Along with the fellowship, Marcus uses his creative eye for fashion coupled with his passion for contracting the US achievement gap to develop his social venture, Heart of Man Foundation & Clothing Co. He also serves on the Fund Development Board at Amandla Charter School in Chicago, IL. Marcus graduated with honors from Morehouse College with a degree in Business Administration – concentration in Finance; additional course-work at London School of Economics (Peking University Beijing, China).
