Sara Taylor

Sara Taylor is an investment officer, responsible for sourcing, structuring and execution of transactions. Prior to joining Accion, Sara worked in the Global Banking & Markets unit the Royal Bank of Scotland in London where she qualified as a UK Financial Services Authority Investment Advisor. Sara is also a qualified UK attorney and practiced corporate lawyer at Clifford Chance in London, acting for private equity firms, companies and financial institutions on a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions. During her graduate studies, Sara worked in Zambia for the Grassroots Business Fund, where she provided technical assistance on regulatory and corporate structuring issues to Zoona, now a Frontier portfolio company. Sara holds a Master’s degree in International Development and Economics from Johns Hopkins SAIS, a law degree from the College of Law in London, and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Oxford University.
