Sarah Ven
Community Housing Partnership, Technology Analyst
Sarah is a ProInspire Fellow at Community Housing Partnership (CHP), a nonprofit whose mission is to help homeless people secure housing and become self-sufficient. As the Technology Analyst, Sarah will manage the implementation project of a human capital management solution as well as be involved with other special projects that will improve the organization’s efficiency through technology. Sarah attended The University of Texas at Austin as a Terry Scholar and completed school with a BBA in Management Information Systems. Shortly after graduation, she started her career as an IT Business Analyst at Halliburton in Houston, Texas where she supported seven global IT applications across various departments. Sarah was actively involved with anti-human trafficking organizations in Houston. She was able to integrate her love for coffee with her passion to spread awareness on the issue as a dedicated barista volunteer at A 2nd Cup, a nonprofit coffee shop whose mission is to educate the community on the issue of human trafficking and raise funds for after-care solutions for survivors. In her free time, she enjoys playing competitive sports such as a flag football and soccer, getting outdoors, and eating!
