Yewande Akinleye

College Summit, Manager of Executive Initiatives

Yewande Akinleye is a ProInspire Fellow at College Summit, the nation’s largest nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of low-income youth by connecting them to college and career. As Manager of Executive Initiatives she is responsible for managing special organizational projects, facilitating communication on behalf of the Executive Office, and providing operational support to the Executive Team and National Board of Directors. Prior to joining ProInspire Yewande spent the last three years of her career as the Foundation Coordinator at the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation. Her role entailed project management, program support, budget management and internal logistical coordination between various NABEF entities and departments. In her spare time Yewande loves to travel and explore the arts. She’s also an avid book collector and foreign film enthusiast. Yewande received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology Anthropology from Temple University and is currently completing her MBA.
