ProInspire Releases Infographic on Millennials in the Nonprofit Workforce
ProInspire released a new infographic today about Millennials in the nonprofit workforce. The infographic builds on insights shared through ProInspire’s report, A Force for Impact: Millennials in the Nonprofit Sector, released in October 2015. Nonprofit leaders will find this a useful guide to understanding:
- Characteristics of the Millennial generation
- Factors that influence Millennial career decisions and work lives
- Ten talent strategies to recruit, retain, and advance Millennial professionals

This research was informed by input and feedback from Millennial employees and nonprofit organizations within ProInspire’s network. As Millennials become a larger part of the workforce, it is important for leaders to understand their interests and broader motivations. This will enable organizations to build stronger talent cultures and systems that are important not only for Millennials, but for all generations in the workplace. Investing in talent will help nonprofits truly leverage Millennials as a force for impact.
Monisha Kapila, ProInspire Founder and CEO, will speak about the Millennials research at several upcoming events including Council on Foundations 2016 Annual Conference, Nonprofit Talent & Culture Summit, and as part of ProInspire’s custom leadership development programs focused on developing and advancing Millennials.
