Since our founding in 2009, we have partnered with social change leaders and organizations to co-create conditions for all people to experience thriving and abundant lives. As a Black-led, multiracial organization, we believe equitable leadership is crucial for addressing power imbalances and achieving this vision. Our mission is to activate social change leaders to promote racial equity in their work, organizations, and the social sector.
We bring diverse expertise and an intersectional analysis that explores the complexities of power, working at individual, interpersonal, organizational, and systems levels to move away from white dominant cultural norms. Our work is rooted in Black Feminist wisdom, and we strive to honor the full humanity and to prioritize the well-being of Black, Indigenous, and all People of Color (BIPOC).
While we bring our knowledge and expertise to this work, it is only through our partnerships and the collective wisdom and actions of our community that we can achieve our mission and realize our shared vision. We are grateful for the leaders and organizations who have partnered with us.
